Control Panel-> Folder Options -> View -> Advanced Settings -> Hidden Files & Folders -> Show hidden files folders and drives
How To Show Hidden Files and Folders XP
From the Start button, select Control Panel
Choose to view by small icon
Double-click on Folder Options
Click on the View Tab
In the Window, change the radio button under Hidden Files and Folders to “show hidden files and folders”
click on Apply.
